Baths of Caracalla
This is the north wall of the baths. The complex is huge. It is believed that it could serve 1600 people at a time when it
was built.
This view is of the south side of the main block from the central garden. It is a good picture of the famous pines of
Rome.
Here is a four-leaf clover and a five-leaf clover I found in this area.
These arches give an idea of the size of a small portion of the wall.
Here you see some of the mosaic floors like you would find in one of the gymnasia. There are also some pictorial
mosaics not shown here.
